Your role
This position is designed as a strategic staff position. You will not be managing teams in a disciplinary capacity, but rather developing sales logic, translating it into concrete measures and ensuring that it is effectively implemented and anchored within the company. To this end, you will work closely with the managing partner on strategy and with sales and marketing on implementation.
Your responsibilities
Sales architecture & channel management
- Analysis and further development of our existing sales structure
- Clear differentiation and prioritisation of channels, customer groups and business logic
- Conscious management of conflicting objectives between:
- Direct sales
- Specialist retailers
- Online
- Distributors
- Making and representing clear trade-off decisions
Business development & market development
- Identification and evaluation of new business potential
- Development of robust hypotheses, business cases and decision-making bases
- Definition of:
- Lead generation approaches
- Dealer development programmes
- Channel-specific sales logic
- Actively saying no to projects that would dilute focus or structure
Implementation & anchoring
- Translation of strategy into concrete measures, processes and routines
- Close cooperation with field and office staff as well as marketing
- Ensuring that changes have a lasting effect
Control, figures & CRM
- Use of Pipedrive as a central control and monitoring tool
- Establishment of transparent funnels, workflows and dashboards
- Definition and enforcement of relevant KPIs
- Ensuring data quality and consistent forecast logic
Your skills
Technical & professional
- Several years of experience (approx. 6–10 years) in B2B sales, business development or as a B2B sales strategist
- Very good understanding of multi-level and multi-channel (specialist retail) sales models
- Genuine interest in products, markets and customers – not just concepts
- Confident use of CRM systems, ideally Pipedrive, i.e. very good understanding of figures, control and CRM-based sales work
- Strong in analysis, structuring and deriving sales measures
